The links below are additional curriculum resources created to support teachers and students with literacy. 

Prefixes, Suffixes, and Roots By Grade Level

These lists are not all-inclusive, but most common.  They are a minimum students at each grade level should read and understand how to use and apply by the current school year end.  Others may be added based on your classroom of students.

Teacher Created Resources

The above @DMPS folders contain support materials that have been created by teachers across the district, organized into folders by units.   Please continue to share any great resources you are using with your students by contacting a member of the Office of Academics team. Using these resources is **optional** and should not be considered a district requirement.

Close Reading Modules

The PowerPoint-based modules below are intended to support school teams in their close reading understanding and instruction.  Modules can be completed in whole school PD, grade level PLCs, or on an individual basis.  ​
