• SMI is a research-based, adaptive assessment that measures math abilities and longitudinal progress from Kindergarten through Algebra II.  

Benefits:

• The SMI provides a quantile score that can be used to track student growth in the area of math. 
• SMI also has the ability to provide instructional recommendations for students or groups of students.
